About Us

Inspired by the need for easy-to-use storage solutions, Storage Appliance Corporation was formed in early 2005 to build a line of truly consumer-friendly storage products. Our products combine the ultimate in ease-of-use with the latest in storage technologies, providing our customers with simple peace-of-mind for their digital information.

Storage solutions should be simple enough that regular consumers without any technical knowledge will use them frequently. If the experience of backing up data is not absolutely simple, then it will not be done. If backup is not done regularly, people will lose their digital content.

After extensive research we could not find anything in the market that met the needs of our friends & family for backing up their personal data. This drove us to found Storage Appliance Corporation with the simple goal of building the world’s best consumer storage products.

The Storage Appliance team consists of computer industry veterans with proven track records in product development and a long history of success with new technologies. Our areas of expertise range from hardware and software development to marketing and retail channel management.

As a testament to the strength and uniqueness of our solutions, we have filed many patents around our technology. We will continue to aggressively add new features and technologies to our products to maintain our technical leadership. Storage Appliance Corporation is a privately-held organization and is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
